The Athena Institute is a non-profit key provider of information and tools for the sustainable building community. They use a life cycle assessment (LCA) approach to sustainability to create a level playing field for the vast array of building materials in use. They offer the only tools in North America for life cycle assessment of whole buildings and assemblies: the free spreadsheet tool, the Impact Estimator for Buildings software, and the EcoCalculator for Assemblies.

The Green Building Council is a national, non profit organization committed to transitioning Australia's property industry into a sustainable and green industry through green building programs, technologies, design and operations.

Greening Government is an electronic information system developed by the Government of Canada and to support the Sustainable Development in Government Operations (SDGO) initiative. The Government of Canada is committed to preventing pollution and protecting the environment as it carries out all its activities. The Sustainable Development in Government Operations (SDGO) initiative is committed to integrating sustainable development principles in all federal operations, coordinating and reporting those green operations, and sharing knowledge on sustainable development tools.

Earthwalk Eco Education Center offers sustainable educational experiences throughout Eastern Ontario and beyond. Their mission is to raise consciousness about sustainable solutions to our social and environmental issues.
