Greenway Cabinetry Inc, a member of the U.S. Green Building Council produces a collection called Breathe Easy Cabinetry. With low or no VOC finishes, constructed with water-based glues and solid wood or bamboo, and formaldahyde-free solid plywood boxes the Breathe Easy collection meets certain requirements for LEED credits and toward LEED certification.

Crystal manufactures cabinets, including a frameless line of cabinets called GreenQuest. Crystal is a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified manufacturer. Using ultra-low VOC water-based finishes, and wood materials that are recycled wood and wood residues, and no added urea-formaldehyde.

Vermont Green Cabinets designs, builds and installs cabinetry. FSC Certified and member of the Vermont Green Building Network (VGBN) they use Vermont hardwood, and local manufactured water-based coatings made from the by-product whey. Vermont Green Cabinets use hardwoods and plywoods certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

Humabuilt's Wheatcore Cabinets can qualify for LEED credits, as they are made with low-emitting materials and rapidly renewing resources. All adhesives used in assembly meet LEED standards and are C.A.R.B. Compliant. Finishes that meet LEED Green Building Rating SystemTM standards are available.

Forefront Designs manufactures Greenline Cabinets. Their line of cabinets are constructed with strawboard cores, which are recycled wheat straw fibers; non-toxic adhesives; melamine; and hinges and drawer slides that are ISO 14001 certified. Intended interior applications include in assisted living and child care centers and health care facilities. Customized cabinet systems available.

Neil Kelly Cabinets utilizes low VOC glues, adhesives and finishes, with exclusive use of Forest Stewardship Council certified wood veneers where possible in the construction of their cabinets. Neil Kelly are members of the Forest Stewardship Council and the U.S. Green Building Council; members of the PureBond Fabricators network as well as founding members of the Oregon Natural Step Network.

Koch Cabinets manufactures cabinetry of wheatboard box and hardwood construction, with PEFC certified hardwoods available. Kock products are California Air Resources Board (C.A.R.B.) compliant. All adhesives used in assembly are C.A.R.B. compliant and meet LEED low-emitting specifications.

Armstrong manufactures kitchen and bath cabinetry. Demonstrating compliance in standards for air quality, product resource management, process resource management, environmental stewardship and community relations Armstrong was awarded certification in the KCMA Environmental Stewardship Program. Armstrong hold memberships with the U.S. Green Building Council and the Canada Green Building Council.

Case Green manufactures cabinets with construction options that include cabinet boxes made from wheat board or Medite II, both low-emission fiberboard; eco-friendly wood species like bamboo, Lyptus (manufactured from eucalyptus); hardwood or wheat sheet veneers; and recycled/reclaimed woods.

Executive Kitchens offers Ecofriendly Cabinetry, a line of cabinetry that incorporates formaldehyde-free adhesives and qualifies for up to 7 LEED certification points, and up to 24 NAHB Green Building Standard points. Executive Kitchens is a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified manufacturer, and member of the U.S. Green Building Council.

KraftMaid manufactures a wide selection of cabinetry -sizes, styles and finishes. With features like solid wood dovetail construction instead of the use of glue, using EPP particle board which is partially made up of recycled material, reduction, reuse and recycling is incorporated in the manufacturing process. KraftMaid has earned certification in the Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) administered by the KCMA.

GreenTech Cabinetry manufactures for residential and commercial applications. Focused on low/no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) cabinets to reduce harmful chemicals emitted in the home GreenTech lines include cabinets utilizing bamboo.

TerraCabinets sources materials locally, uses preferable materials like bamboo, formaldehyde-free wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, agrifiber & MDF and particleboard with no added urea formaldehyde, and uses low- and no-VOC materials in the construction of their cabinetry.

The New Leaf division of Royal Cabinet maintains an environmentally counscious manufacturing process, building cabinets made from solid wood and wood veneers of sustainable growth forests. John Gillis Cabinetry is a custom cabinetry company. Cabinets are made from such wood as solid White Oak, reclaimed and recycled, from such suppliers as Restoration Timber who specializes in deconstructing structures that are hundreds of years old and reclaiming wood for flooring, cabinets and trim. Evolutionary Designs manufactures all-wood kitchen, bath and built-in cabinetry in wood types from aformosia and ash to teak and zebrawood. While their "Green" line of cabinetry diminishes the inclusion of noxious chemicals in the manufacturing process.
