TerraCabinets sources materials locally, uses preferable materials like bamboo, formaldehyde-free wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, agrifiber & MDF and particleboard with no added urea formaldehyde, and uses low- and no-VOC materials in the construction of their cabinetry.

The New Leaf division of Royal Cabinet maintains an environmentally counscious manufacturing process, building cabinets made from solid wood and wood veneers of sustainable growth forests. They also use cabinet finishes with reduced hazardous air pollutants (HAPS) and low volatile organic compounds (VOC). The Royal Cabinet Company is a member of the PureBond Fabricator Network.
